Works on Paper

The Girls is the first body of collaged works on paper Amy created following the loss of her father. Made during a time of deep emotional transition, the series explores how grief can split a person open - exposing the raw edges of the nervous system and the vulnerability that lies just beneath the surface.

Working with found imagery, often from postcards, Amy reorganized and reassembled familiar forms into something unfamiliar and new. The act of collage became a quiet ritual of repair - a way to navigate the disorientation of loss and reflect the slow, personal transformation that follows profound change.
